The genus hyssopus consists of a single species. Originating in Southern Europe, this herb is now sparsely naturalized in the United States and widely cultivated in Russia. Today, this herb is enjoyed as a culinary herb and as an herbal tea.

100% organic Hyssop (Hyssopus)

Use spring or filtered water as it is recommended. Be sure that your water is at a rolling boil when you pour it over your teabags. Be sure to use one tea bag per cup of boiling water, cover and steep for 7-12 minutes. If you desire a pleasure tea or quick brew, use one teabag per cup of hot water. Pour water over teabags, cover, and let steep 3 to 5 minutes to taste.
