Not only does it work against mosquitoes but also pesky flies. The important thing I wanted to mention was the healing power as an "after bite" lotion. When I get bit on the ankles, I swell up quite a bit and it gets inflamed. This happened to me recently and I took the Tropical Traditions Insect Repellant and rubbed it into the inflamed area in a circular motion for about 30 seconds.
